A revived royal weave from the once great town of Maheshwar, this collection is named after the region’s ruler Ahilyabai Holkar. A widowed woman ruler of the 18th century, Ahilya Devi revolutionised her kingdom and brought economic prosperity like never before, during her reign. It was her who created this unique weave of silk and cotton and made it popular across the country. Each saree in this collection is named after a site which she was associated with, during her reign.

The Maheshwari Cotton silk dance sarees are first of their kind, available in 36 inch width, with running blouse included. These are lightweight at the same time rich and come in delightful contrasted borders and zari stripe pally and blouse. With a running blouse adding to the length of the saree, this can be draped comfortably with extra pleats and pallu making a full circle around the waist. Ideal for your performances, practice, video content and photoshoots.
